The wide palm end of the Homer mouse, which is sold for $17 at USBgeek.com, is encased in clear plastic that holds blue and clear liquids. Floating blissfully between the layers is America's favorite cartoon paterfamilias. He wears a smart pair of flowered Bermuda swim trunks, and perched on his distended belly is a perfectly balanced can of what appears to be Duff beer. The mouse works with both Macs and PC's and requires no special software. Technologically speaking, it's nothing to write home about.
