The biggest challenge faced by most while developing their website is writing content for the pages of the website. The most important part is to hit the "Bull's Eye" right at the landing page for the visitors. The content of the page needs to be developed in such a way that neither it gets boring for the visitors nor it should take away the seriousness of business promotion from the site. It is mostly seen that the text content of the WebPages become too rambling and too much introductions on each pages takes away the interest of the visitors to the site.
# How to manage the text content of the site:
It is important to have a proper "Copywriter`s layout" for each pages of the website. The copywriter will analyze the site accordingly and put his understanding in the text format. As a website owner, you can ratify whether his ideas matches with your requirement completely or not before incorporating them onto the WebPages of the site. The "Key Message" and the "Key Actions" should be properly laid down so that the visitors should get most of the informations about the business as soon as possible once then enter the landing page.
# Building the First page of the site:
Research says that on an average a visitors stays with a website for not more than 15 seconds before flipping over to some other website. So it becomes very important, as a website owner, to make the introductory page of the website so attractive that the visitors are compelled to spend more time on your site. Also important is to give all the necessary informations to the visitors side by side. So the "Key Message" that you would like to propagate through your website should be prominent and crystal clear.
# How to build the first page:
For knowing this, a proper analysis is required about the visitors. One must know what the visitor is expecting and hoping from the site. It depends more how one can anticipate the mind of the visitors. It is necessary to understand that the visitor is coming to site with some kind of purpose. They either need some kind of solution of a problem or else looking for something that is Vaguely on their mind. So if one can anticipate this in advance then it can be possible to give information about the possible solution right away or guide the user through to the page from where they can get some concrete solution to their idea or the problem that they are facing. If someone finds what they want right there, than it is important to allow them to click through without having to scroll and search.If someone is still one or two levels away from finding what they need, you might want to get them on their way as quickly as possible.
If you look at your site, you will find that one screen isn’t such a small space to give informations about the business right away. But this might look small only when too much attention is given to promoting, explaining and applauding the company or organization. It also becomes crowded when too many stakeholders are fighting for space.
Conclusion:
Your front page content is like a mirror image of your business to the visitors. This helps in creating positive ideas about your business on the visitor`s mind. Utmost care should be taken while building the first page of the website.
