Website programme
There is an old saying that self-help is the best help. This old saying goes perfectly with one issue in the aspect of web designing and programming. One has to use his or her own insight while making a web site .The same is the case to use any programme to write XHTML. The web designer must do it own self, even the writing of the code also should be done by him. It will enhance the knowledge of the designer, which is going help him through out the life.
We all know that HTML is a programming language (specially used to design the front-end). But how many of us know that the programmes produced by this language are not free of faults. While making a web site using HTML one cannot know how the pages are being built as HTML does this work internally. This does not seem to be a very big problem because most of the times a web design using this language works perfectly. But what if we take the exceptions? Now the problem is that most of the users use Internet Explorer4.If a web designer finds that it cannot be displayed properly in Internet Explorer4 what is going to be the solution? One and only solution will then be to forget about the programming are look into the matter himself. Now what if he does not have the knowledge to fix it, as all the while he was using programming to code the pages. Naturally the real problem will arise. As we all know that HTML is a language, which is logically very poor. It can help the web designer or the browser to know that between two numbers, as for example, which one is greater. So one cannot expect to know why this has not happened or this has happened.
With the vast expansion of technology, we cannot expect people to view sites only through a few numbers of browsers. We cannot even imagine how many kinds of things have inbuilt browsers. We can take the example of mobile phones, TV, cars, fridges, digital diaries etc. Braille devises, speech synthesis are also there for physically challenged people. It is the responsibility of the web designer to try his best that it works. There is an international standard laid by World Wide Wave consortium (W3C), which will help him to achieve his target in this regard. After the web designer lays out his design W3C provides a verification service so that the designer can ensure that the site has met the standard. If it meets the end, any device can run it. There is hardly any HTML generated programme, which is capable of producing a legitimate code. So it will be worthwhile if on the part of a designer if he or she has some knowledge to run an XHTML programme.
