A Website Design company proposal should ideally carry the following informations sequentially with it:
# Company Introduction:
The company profile needs to be mentioned at first. This portion should also introduce about the credentials of the website design company because this helps the clients to decide whether the website design company is in a position to take up the project.
# Client Description:
The proposal should also contain a few informations about the client for which they(website Design Company) are taking up the project. They must give a brief overview about their understanding about the products and services that the business offers, about its competitors etc.
# Scope of the project:
The scope of the project needs to be clarified to the client. A brief description of how the client's website will look like needs to be mentioned. If necessary a few samples needs to be provided to the client for clear understanding.
# Technical Matters:
The software languages that will be used for website development needs to be mentioned as some clients are aware of the web development software tools.
# Project Flow:
A diagram showing the different pages of the site and navigational structure. A detailed description of each web page,how it fits in with the overall web site theme and the project element it addresses.
# Project Cost details:
The proper cost breakup must be given to the client. The cost details includes advances if any, developmental cost,delivery cost, hosting charges etc.. All the costs pertaining to the project must be mentioned clearly with explanation.
# Project Timespan:
The time span for the project completion must be specified. The exact date of start of work till the date of end of work needs to be mentioned so that the client can plan things accordingly.
# Terms and Conditions:
The terms of conditions of the services must be specified to the clients so that they know the exact ways to do business.Don't hide any issues which will later damage the relation with the client in a long run.
# After delivery services:
Post project deliveries must also be mentioned in the proposal. If the website design company offers for free support or any website maintenance contract then that also needs to be specified on the proposal to avoid any kind of ambiguity afterwards.
