HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is a collection of platform-independent styles (indicated by markup tags) that define the various components of a World Wide Web document. It is used in basic, plain ASCII-text documents, but when those documents are interpreted (called rendering) by a Web browser such as Netscape, the document can display formatted text, color, a variety of fonts, graphic images, special effects, hypertext jumps to other Internet locations and information forms.The purpose behind HTML is to create a cross-platform compatibility of the webpages. It works irrespective of the connection type that the user is using in order to access the web.
Regarding dynamic pages,dynamic HTML or DHTML is a technique of creating interactive web sites by using a combination of the static markup language HTML, a client-side scripting language (such as JavaScript, ASP, PHP) and the style definition language Cascading Style Sheets.
2) Deciding a domain name is also very important. The Domain name needs to be unique so that the visitors can recognize you through that. Apart from that, your domain name must be in accordance with the theme of your website. It must give a brief idea about your business. You need to first find a domain name that best suits your business activity and then register. A typical domain registration might takes around $10. A good domain name is also liked by the search engines as well.
3) Deciding the contents of your webpages. The content of your webpage is very important as this is the best way to grab the visitor's attention and make them go through the products or services that you offer through your website. The contents of your website can raise your sales to a great extent. The contents of your webpage must hit the main issues right from the word "Go". If the visitors to your website finds the content very monotonous then they might swap to your competitor's website and instead of your getting the business, your competitor might get business from the visitor.
4) After completion of your website development, the crucial issue that follows is web hosting. The biggest confusion is what type of server to choose, whether Linux based server is better than windows based server and vice versa. Following things must be kept in mind while deciding for your web host:
