This refers to the amount of other quality web sites that have links pointing back to yours. The more quality links there are, the better you will rank on the major search engines. I extensively research other sites related to yours and add or exchange links with them. This may require a links/resources page to be added to your site.
# Website title:
The title of your website should go well with the content of your website. E.g. for website design company, the ideal title could be "website design company". This will give an insight view about your site to the visitor of your website. Title tags Gets a lot of weight with all of the search engines. If possible make the title tag with the keywords that you use throughout your website. Use the keyword phrases people might be using at a search engine to find your company.
# Create Meta tags:
The search engines determines following informations about the Meta tags:
-- Is the content of the page relevant?
-- It determines the content of the page like What is the page all about etc.
-- It also helps the search engine to determine where to rank your website.
-- Search engines determines whether the meta tags relates to the content of the webpage.
Don't expect quick results. Getting high rankings takes time; there's no getting around that fact (even with paid-inclusion). Once your site is added to a search engine its rankings may start out low and then slowly work its way up the ladder. All search engines measure link popularity, and it takes time to really and truly become one of the most popular sites in your niche. Be patient and give your site time to mature.
# Tweaking web site structure and navigation:
If visitors are having a difficult time navigating your site, reading the content or experience broken links, then repair or tweak the site to make it more suitable for your visitors. Don't constantly "tweak" your site for better results.
