With the growing practice of content copying, it becomes essential to keep changing the content of the website changing so as to avoid content duplication. Also your website should give your visitors something unique that your competitors doesn't provide.
3) Proper content management for the visitors:
If you see the number of hits of every webpage that comprises your website, you will find that there are some pages on your website that attracts maximum viewing. So obviously you would like to give as much informations as possible on those pages so that the visitors can know the exact goal of your website. This will require some important informations to be transferred from the current page to that page or upgrading the link pages from the most visited webpage.
4) Rebuild the foundation:
The business world is constantly changing and so is the demand of the customers. Things that are considered "in" today are gone tomorrow. So your website also needs constant updation in order to adept to the current needs of your customers. Before you re-design, there needs some analysis about the needs and expectation of the visitors to your website.
5) Mistake correction:
Website redesign provides you with the best opportunity to mend your past mistakes. If you feel that some pages are useful yesterday but redundant today, just remove them from your website. Also this is the best opportunity to find and remove broken links.
