Organising webpages
As usage of internet technology is expanding, so every business is now thriving for Designing and developing superior website design. Websites and webpages has now become colloquial. every body is now aware of what websites means and how are webpages related to websites. This article is to let one know how the webpages are organised in a website.
1. The "Home Page", commonly called "landing page", is the first page that the user see once they enter the website. Home page is always there even if the website consists of a couple of webpages. All the other pages of the website are linked through this page. Home page is an important page, because this page introduces the website to the visitors at the first time. This page calls for a professional touch because through the home page the first impression about the business is created. The visitors gets the theme of the business through the home page of the website. The home page acts as "control Room" from where other webpages are being linked.
2. Generally on the home pages, there are hyperlinked texts which connects other pages to the landing page of the website. Home page holds the topmost position, if all the webpages of the website are arranged hierarchically. Through the home page, other pages gets connected.
3. All the documents related to a website are arranged in a single directory on the website hosting server. The webserver gives a domain name through which the contents related to the website can be viewed. Webservers contains many website directory for the visitors to view. Generally one webserver is enough for hosting a website, but attimes the websites are made so bigger and heavier that it might required more webserver in order to get hosting properly.
4. The Homepage link needs to be there on each and every page of the website. This is important so that the visitors doesn't find themselves getting lost within the mesh of the webpages on the website. they should always see their way back to the "Home page".
5. Contents of one page can be linked with the contents of the other pages.
6. The webpages of a website are arranged like a tree structure. Every pages are interlinked. Home page is like rots of the entire website.
