The webhost vendors who offers to host your website at low cost or no cost usually ask for something in return from you. In most of the cases it is found that they will put their advertisement banner onto your site. So it misguides the visitors to your site. Normally these advertisement are made very flashy and the visitors tends to click on them and then getting re-directed to their website. So you might loose a visitor even before he see your website properly. So all decisions should n`t be taken by keeping monetary gains in mind. At times it causes huge loss indirectly.
2. Free website hosting:
There are many web hosting vendors who offers for free website hosting. Try to avoid them because they try to lure you by giving free offer and in return they do business through your site. Usually, as in case of low cost webhost, they will put their advertisement banners on all the pages of your site thereby taking making the content of your website dull. Indirectly they even takes away your potential customers from your site to their site. So the free offers are actually not free. They might kill your business by luring you to something free. Apart from these, these servers are very over crowded as a result of which most of the time one can find his website not working. So it is always better to make the necessary investments for web hosting after you develop your website so that this doesn't turn out to be hassles.
2. Web hosting with limited offers -
Typically a hosting service must provide you the following services:
# A secure server for your use.
# Multiple POP Email Accounts. The number of account depends on the web hosting company you are choosing.
# Your web hosting service must include Autoresponders.
# Your website hosting vendor must be into the business of dedicated hosting.
# Your web hosting company must provide you with the vital Web Usage Statistics.
# The option of URL Redirection is very important service to be provided by your hosting vendor.
# You must know the web space that is allocated for your usage. You must know how much you pay and how much you are getting.
The above mentioned offers are some of the typical services that the hosting company must provide if you are buying server space from them. There can be additional offers but these are the least that a web hosting company must offer.
