How to creat an RSS
Almost every single website should have RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds available which is a very common technology that helps webmasters publish the syndicated content on internet.
How to create RSS :
a. The feed creations are available in many desktop or web applications. Though feed creation manually is little complicated and time-consuming process but it is preferable over some ready-made desktop applications. These applications having wizard and contact sensitive helps associated with it. Ultimately, publishers would control what information to be included in the RSS feed so as to whether it would be a teaser copy or full article.
b. After having finished the RSS feed construction it has to be transferred to your server, which is done by using FTP client (if it is not included the feed creation software). You have to know that where the feed resides like the domain's root directory.
c. A colourful graphic and text are required to let the visitors of the website know that it has got the RSS feed contents which has become a standard for a website design. Formerly, a bright orange color was used mostly but now webmasters relaxes the rule a bit and NotePage providing some free online RSS graphic tools by which a customize button can be designed by selecting of its texts, colours etc.
d. Importantly, add some small useful code on the header field of the HTML page so as to let the aggregators know that RSS is established on the web page. Likewise, visitors will get to know that RSS feed exists.
e. Visitors may see the content of an RSS in an alternative way by adding it to a website and consequently the website helps increase the chance to be faster noticed by search engines. The RSS feed can be displayed as HTML and website visitors will get attracted by updating it regularly.
f. Finally, RSS needs to be submitted to the RSS search engines and directories either by manually or by an automated process. For manual submission, like submission of link exchange, you have to give the exact link of the feed located on your website to the RSS directories.
