The ethics and fundamental characteristics of graphic design
New technology of design and writing text in a new format is called graphic design. Through the graphics one can easily communicate others. One can use graphic design for logos, leaflets, newssheets and placards. But there are some basic and fundamental characteristics to use graphic design.
The first and most important step for graphic design is its simplicity. Most of the customers always prefer simple, straightforward and efficiently organized graphics for the website business. Because sometimes jumbled graphics create so many confusion to the viewers. Again some designers consciously or unconsciously use multiple colours in a design but it is unfair to that design. When they used so many colours in a design it look like a trashy work. So to make a good looking graphics one may use more or less three colours. The next important factor is, the consistency of the graphics. To make sure about the consistency of the graphic one should use commercial and communal colours in a design.
To make an exciting graphic one needs to use font. So many fonts are available for using in a graphic design but the difficult thing is to choice, which size and colour of font are appropriate for a particular design. Because wrong choice of fonts and use of different types of font in a graphic may create confusion for the viewers. On the other hand one can use different different font for heading, title, content etc. and it is advantageous for the company’s profile, menu etc.
Again, the designer may use colours as he/she want to use but the contrasting colours are more appropriate for the background. Suppose someone use dark colour font for the text, then the background should be light colour. In this case maximum customers prefer black & white combination. The very next important point is the use of images in a graphic. Actually the customers always want a number one designed website. To attract the customers through a graphic design one have to maintain these criteria. Even the total pages of a site should be faultless from top to bottom with a straightforward matter.
Another element of graphic design is its writing pattern. Usually readers start reading at the top left towards right side and then finished it in the bottom right of the page. It’s a great advantage for advertisements using so many images or graphics. The designer should leave some blank space for the layout so that readers may give some rest to his/her eyes. And all these given informations for a graphic design are necessary to make a successful graphic for a website.
