You need to create that "X-Factor" on your website that can generate a "wow" from the visitor when they land to your website for the first time. Your website needs to be simple and easily navigable. Providing a help button with instructions or a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help the customers who gets confused while using the website. Your website shouldn't give them a feeling that they have entered into a mesh of webpages.

Customer service is the key. Whenever in some kind of problem, they must be able to reach your promptly. The quality of reply to the customers query should fairly be professional. Also intimate the visitor if you find that there will be slight delay in replying back to the query.
# Update the contents:
The contents of the website needs to be updated regularly as this will make the visitors visit your website quite frequently. Static websites becomes monotonous and the existing customers might loose interest to visit your website. So keep updating the contents of the webpages updated in order to make it more lively.
# Encourage bookmarking:
Encourage the visitors to bookmark your website onto their favourite list so that they can reach your website with just one click. If possible, design a favicon so that it looks attractive on the favorite list of the visitor.
# Newsletters:
Get free newsletters to the visitors just by subscribing onto your website. Send some of your website promotions along with the newsletters so that the visitor can once again see your website.
# Get feedbacks from the visitors:
Getting feedbacks from the visitors is essential as this will help you to understand how the visitors are viewing your website. Create something like bulletin board where the visitors can leave message for each others.
