# You must explain your "Traits" on the about us page so that the visitors can differentiate you from others. Building the "About Us" page will ensure that the visitors could see and judge you over others. If you are offering something special, then use your "about us" page in order to promote it. # Never entice the visitors of your website. Don't make commitments that you won't be able to fulfill afterwards. The key for survival in the business world of today is "Goodwill". Once goodwill is lost, the game is over. Never mind if you have a small business. # Your about us page must be very informative. All the informations on that page must be clear cut and precise. So try to give as much informations as possible through that page. If you are having something new to offer, then announce it on the about us page. If you are adopting some new business policy or you are expanding your current business, then intimate the visitors so that they know about the latest happening in your business.
# If you are a single person doing business, then put your picture onto the about us page of your website so that it makes the page very reality. Customers likes to see the person with whom they will be dealing. If the website is company owned, then it is essential to put some images of the company onto the "about us" page so that the visitors can see the company with whom they will do business.
Before you start your website design, proper analysis is required to build the content of the "About Us" page. You must see how your competitors uses this page and take the idea from them and make something unique for your website.
